Legal
Privacy Policy.
This policy explains what information Agent Amplified collects when you visit our site or work with us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
01Who we are
Agent Amplified (“Agent Amplified,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a marketing services company that helps real estate agents and brokerages generate, nurture, and close buyer and seller leads. This policy applies to our website at [amplifiedtraining.ca], our marketing communications, and the services we deliver to clients.
We operate from [Registered address, City, Province/State, Country]. For anything privacy-related, contact privacy@agentamplified.ca.
02What we collect
We collect three kinds of information.
Information you give us
- Contact and business details when you book a call, fill out a form, or become a client: name, email, phone, brokerage, market, website, and anything you type into a form field or send us by email.
- Payment and billing details when you become a client. Card and banking details are handled by our payment processor ([Stripe / QuickBooks / other]); we do not store full card numbers.
- Marketing assets you send us during onboarding: logos, brand guidelines, listings data, MLS exports, CRM exports, ad-account access, and other content you share so we can do the work.
Information we collect automatically
- Device and usage data when you browse our site: IP address, user-agent, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, and general geographic region.
- Cookies and similar technologies for analytics, remarketing, and site functionality (see Cookies & ads).
Information from third parties
- Ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn) send us aggregated performance data on campaigns we run for clients.
- Public sources for research: your brokerage website, MLS listings, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile.
- Enrichment tools may append business firmographics to email addresses you provide when you request a proposal.
03How we use it
We use the information above to:
- Respond to inquiries, book strategy calls, and prepare proposals.
- Deliver marketing services to clients under a signed agreement.
- Send transactional messages (invoices, reports, campaign updates).
- Send our own marketing (newsletters, case studies, product updates) — you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Improve the site, our services, and our own marketing performance.
- Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
- Protect our clients and our business from fraud and abuse.
04Legal basis (GDPR / PIPEDA)
Where privacy law requires us to name a legal basis, ours is:
- Contract — to deliver the services you engaged us for.
- Legitimate interests — to run and grow our business, understand how our site is used, and market our services to businesses like yours.
- Consent — for marketing emails, non-essential cookies, and any processing you specifically opt in to.
- Legal obligation — to keep tax, accounting, and other records the law requires.
05Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers we use to run the business: hosting, email, CRM, analytics, project management, invoicing, ad platforms, AI tools, and file storage. Named vendors currently include [Vercel / Cloudflare / Google Workspace / Follow Up Boss / Stripe / Notion / OpenAI / Anthropic / others].
- Ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn) as part of running campaigns for our clients — each has its own privacy policy governing what they do with data.
- Our clients, when the information is being processed on their behalf as part of a marketing engagement (e.g. leads generated for their business).
- Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants, auditors) under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities, when we are legally required to disclose information — and only what is required.
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business.
06Cookies & ads
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies keep the site working and remember your theme preference. Analytics cookies ([Google Analytics 4 / Plausible / Fathom]) help us understand aggregate usage. Advertising cookies ([Meta Pixel / Google Ads / LinkedIn Insight Tag]) let us measure and remarket our own ads.
You can opt out of non-essential cookies through our cookie banner, your browser settings, or industry opt-out pages like AdChoices Canada and the DAA in the US. Opting out doesn’t stop all ads — it stops personalized ones.
07Retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it: for the length of an active client engagement, plus a period afterwards for legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution reasons. Typical retention windows:
- Prospect and inquiry data — up to [24] months from last contact.
- Client records (contracts, invoices, deliverables) — [7] years after the end of the engagement.
- Website analytics — aggregated, up to [26] months.
- Backups — encrypted, rotated on a rolling schedule.
08Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete information, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent for marketing or non-essential cookies at any time.
- Port your data to another provider in a common format.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, your provincial privacy commissioner, or an EU/UK data protection authority).
Send requests to privacy@agentamplified.ca. We aim to respond within [30 days] and may need to verify your identity before releasing information.
09International transfers
Some of the vendors we use are based in the United States or elsewhere. When we transfer personal information outside your country, we rely on the vendor’s own safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or equivalent) to keep the same level of protection.
10Children
Agent Amplified is a business-to-business service. The site and our services are not directed to children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change or when the law requires it. The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the current version. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email to active clients.
